The EVGA Z590 Dark is a full-featured, overbuilt, and good-looking motherboard. I would like to have seen Wi-Fi 6E and the latest audio codec for the $599 price, but these are hardly dealbreakers considering its focus is overclocking.
Not long ago, we took a look at EVGA’s Z590 FTW and with it, found EVGA stepping up in all the right places offering users robust power delivery, improved looks and more. But that was the company’s $429 offering. Today we’re going to dive deep with the company’s flagship, the Z590 Dark, which takes things to a whole different level.
The Z590 Dark sports a 21-phase VRM with 90A Smart Power Stages and an appearance that more than just a mother could love. Sporting a 90-degree rotated socket and large copper heatsinks, this board is meant to push the limits of your CPU, just like the three other Z590 overclocking motherboards we reviewed previously.
