Starting at just $749, the under 1 kilogram (less than 2.2 pounds) HP Pavilion Aero 13 looks to be the company's lightest consumer laptop yet, and features the first full magnesium-aluminum chassis for the line. It comes readily compatible with Windows 11 and will be available on the official website starting in July, with a wider release to select US retailers planned for this fall.

The Pavilion Aero 13 is the first Pavilion laptop with a 90% screen-to-body ratio, which provides a 13-inch display without affecting the hardware's dimensions. This screen also uses a 16:10 aspect ratio, providing a 10% increase in vertical viewing space compared to a standard 16:9 display. It has a resolution of 2.5k. This is all bolstered by an AMD Ryzen 7 5800U mobile processor, which improves responsiveness while working, browsing, or watching movies.
