OnePlus shared the update information on its official forums on Tuesday, noting that it is now available in the North American region, with releases in other regions to follow soon. While the update includes several notes, Android Police notes that the most important change with the update is a fix to the HD video bug that has been plaguing many OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro users.

The bug, which was introduced in June with the release of the May security patch for OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro devices, caused the Widevine DRM system in many devices to change from I1 to I3. I1 is the level of DRM needed to stream content from websites and apps like Netflix. While the update resets the DRM level for Widevine, many users have reported that they’ve needed to clear the cache of the Netflix app, itself, or just their entire system.
