One less game for us to try and cram into the shortest month of the year.
Video games, movies, TV shows. Odds are anything you've been looking forward to over the past 18 months or more has been delayed to some extent. Whether it was because theaters were closed or a development team simply couldn't do the work they would have been able to do had it not been for the pandemic. Saints Row studio Volition has admitted to being affected by the latter, meaning Saints Row won't be here as soon as we thought.
“Our priority is to create the best Saints Row game yet and, if we released on the original date, it wouldn’t be up to the standards we’ve set ourselves,” writes Volition's chief creative officer Jim Boone. “We underestimated the impact COVID would have on our schedule, although everyone adapted very quickly to the working from home arrangement.”
