Steven Bergwijn scored and got an assist for The Netherlands on Tuesday night – and Tottenham fans are utterly delighted for their stuttering star.
Going into Tuesday night’s game, 24-year-old Bergwijn had scored just one goal for club and country in 2021 – netting in a 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa.
Clocking up 60 appearances for Tottenham, Bergwijn is yet to prove his hefty £25million (Goal) transfer fee – netting just four goals for Spurs.
