Steven Bergwijn was man-of-the-match for The Netherlands on Tuesday – and the Tottenham star has earned praise from his country’s media.
Bergwijn, 24, got the all-important goal that took his country to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar next year. He also laid on assist for the second.
It comes after a woeful run of form, ever since Bergwijn joined Tottenham in January 2020. Signed from PSV, he has played 60 times for Spurs.
